Fabulous Fall Curb Appeal

So summer has come and gone and your house still hasn’t sold.  No worries…there are solutions, and homes do sell 12 months of the year.  However, it is very important to keep up the curb appeal with appropriate seasonal maintenance and upkeep.  Lots can still be done during fall and winter selling seasons.  To ensure that your listing is the “hottie in the hood” try a few nature inspired decorations to draw buyers in.  Click on the link below to see entire article.  Article source: www.thestate.com.

How to Make ‘Earth-Friendly Draino’

by Christine Spitale
This handy little recipe has saved me a call to the plumber on more than one occassion and I thought I’d share it with you.  I learned this recipe from a friend and it works like a charm on most slow/clogged kitchen and bath drains. All ingredients are inexpensive items that are found in your pantry.  Here’s what you need:

1. one small box baking soda
2. 1/2 – 1 cup white vinegar
3. teapot of boiling water
4. rubber gloves
5. plunger

Sprinkle one entire box of baking soda down the drain.  Then boil water in kettle.  Pour vinegar over the baking soda…this creates fizzing action.  Keep pouring vinegar slowly until most of baking soda is disolved or has traveled down the drain.  Let sit for 1-3 minutes.  Lastly, pour boiling water into the sink slowly down the drain.  Then fill the sink with water and test.  Drain should be totally clear!  For stubborn clogs, repeat process.  In kitchen sinks with disposals, run disposal a few times during the process to get things moving.  I hope this recipe will save you money while saving the environment!

This study found that listings with no photos had the worst online results, getting only a .02 percent of the detailed listing views that the 21 or more photo listings received. The study also indicated that listings with 21 or more pictures generated a staggering 55 times the number of page views, 27 times the amount of interest and 898 times the number of leads as a listing with no pictures.
